What it is
Padel bats and pickleball paddles are solid through the middle, so there is no opening to clamp into. GRIP threads into the butt cap at the base of the handle and reads the frame from there.
Reading from the handle rather than the head changes the maths, not the output. The sensor is further from contact, so the firmware solves for the lever between the two — the numbers it reports are still spin, head speed and contact point.
It also counts what those sports actually do. Wall rebounds in padel are logged as their own event rather than as shots you hit, and a doubles mode pairs two GRIPs into one session file so partners are not reconciling two exports afterwards.
Will it fit
Padel bats and pickleball paddles with a standard butt cap, which is grip sizes 0 through 4 — about 100 to 118 mm in circumference. If your racket has an open throat, ONE mounts closer to contact and resolves more.
